Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) has 118 years of experience in providing services to Florida’s abused, neglected and abandoned children. Our mission-Building Bridges to success for children speaks to our desire to protect Florida’s most fragile children and help them realize their full potential. Founded in Jacksonville in 1902, CHS covers the entire state through four geographic areas. The organization is one of the largest providers of child welfare services in the state and the country. CHS is member of the Alliance for Children and Families and Children’s Home Society of America. CHS provides services for children and families to build bridges to success as well as deliver solutions that change their trajectories.
