Analysis of communications survey and continuing strategy development for civic engagement with the new ED
Successes: continuous efforts to find voting registration platform that Brown community can use; conversations with SC's new ED about civic engagement
Challenges: none
Aspirations: looking forward to be working on communications survey data analysis
Shorter week, but still managed to prep for next week's civic engagement meetings and project proposals.
Significant progress has been made with our voting guide and a discussion with the new ED has started regarding the next strategy steps.
My main focus for the next (and my last) three months as a VISTA will be this particular project.
Success: Made progress in voting strategy, recruited students to assist with voter education guide project; continued discussions about comms upcoming needs and expectations; part of the new comms VISTA interview and decision process
Challenges: none this week
Aspirations: kick of summer with clear strategy and deadline expectations for all current projects
2 days off.
Researched and compiled material for and drafted the SC newsletter.
Another shorter week.
Assisted Brown Votes students with drafting election data survey; started compiling material for SC newsletter next week; researched for voter education guide.
Shorter week - a lot of newsletter work and communications around student awards.
Very low-key week.
Successes: no meetings, which provided for a good focus on work.
Challenges: none.
Aspirations: finish or close to finish several projects.
